You Can Know My Mind
05:55

You can know my mind
Its right here to find
I’m open like a book
Come and take a look
You can read my pages through
My chapters and fine print too
I’m glad to open up to a fine woman like you
You can know my mind
Its here for you to find
Spread out like a chart
Navigate my heart
Galloping mustangs through the canyons
Mystery rings around the mountains
Thundering hoofs rumble through ghost towns
Where there’s no one else around
We can do this and surely do that
I have been seen two places at once
We take those actions that don’t think twice
Cause there’s enough to go around
One plus one makes two
Think what we can do
Don’t mind if we do
You have it in you
You can know my mind so well
Put your ear to my seashell
Do you hear it?
There’s new universes within us to explore for a lifetime
(Its just a little invitation)
You can know my mind!

Roaming and Bewildered
05:22

Oh to be free
Roaming high above the evergreens
Everything I need (for the moment) is secure
I am serene
Now I hear the purr of a mountain cat
Rumble through the cirque
Like a rockslide
And it echoes deep inside
And I feel so lucky to witness it
I feel like a million bucks
Wandering through the wilderness
antlers through the mist
But I wake to a plaster wall
And I feel like a cornered wolf
Strange as it may seem
This is not a dream
Roaming and bewildered now
I feel such harmony in this place of grace
Finding it all familiarly bizarre
Roaming and bewildered and serene
Meantime time is mean
Mean, time. Time is mean.
Well meantime I been hunkered and a bunkered down
Keepin’ to the underground, see?
Feeling like a rabbit in a rabbit hole
Have a little pity on me
Playing in my little flea circus jug band, hillbilly hidin’ in me
Oh to be roaming and serene
Bewildered in the wilderness and free
Well I’m pickin’ and a grinnin’ in a foreign homeland
Honey-beein’ all I can bee
Feelin’ like a hobbit in a hobbit hole
But Bilbo never bothered with me
Precolumbi-indiana metal folk jams
Homemade combination of a brain-spam
Oh to be roaming and serene
Bewildered in the wilderness and free

Jan Dylan Hunter Santa Rosa, California
I play all the instruments on all my recordings unless otherwise noted, my main tools being guitar, keyboard and
percussion.
I grew up in the Virgin Islands where I learned steel pan, percussion and clarinet.
Since then living in other states like California exposed me to more culture. Recent trips throughout Europe and the US have also really widened my musicabulary.
-Still taking it all in.
